Owner Allen Davis brings over 20 years of hands-on trade experience in masonry, construction, and chimney services. Having taken over operations in 2021, Allen is committed to honest evaluations, clear customer education, and quality work-and is proud to be one of the few chimney professionals permitted to work in the City of Davis.

When we service your chimney, we do more than brush the flue—we perform a comprehensive 21-point safety inspection and evaluate both venting performance and structural integrity. Afterwards, you receive a written report documenting all findings to help keep your system safe and reliable.
We evaluate both the system’s venting performance and the chimney’s structural integrity by answering three essential questions: 1) Is your system safe to use? We examine the firebox, smoke chamber, flue, and required clearances to ensure your system safely contains heat, flames, and combustion gases. Cracks or missing mortar can create serious hazards: Escaping Flames: Fire spreading beyond the designated burning area. Toxic Gas Leaks: Harmful gases escaping into walls, living spaces, or attic spaces. Structural Damage: Extreme heat transferring to non-heat-rated building materials.

How do I prepare my fireplace for a sweeping appointment?
Please refrain from burning wood for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. To help us work efficiently and safely, ensure there is at least a 6-foot clear space in front of the hearth, clear out any ashes, and keep pets secured in another room during the service.
For appointments located outside of Sacramento, a nominal travel fee applies. We always inform you of any applicable travel fees upfront at the time of scheduling so there are never any surprises.
